2010 Grand Marshals'Norb & Judy Miller

On behalf of the Downtown Community Partnership and the Whitehouse Area Chamber of Commerce we hereby declare – Norbert and Judy Miller – as our Honorary Grand Marshalls’ for the 28th Whitehouse Cherry Festival. We sincerely appreciate your service to our community.
Norb & Judy were honored to be chosen as the Grand Marshalls. Norb & Judy have lived in Whitehouse over 35 years. Their two children Shawn and Kelly grew up here and went to our Anthony Wayne School system. They are both married and live in Waterville. Norb & Judy have five wonderful grandchildren. Norb started working for the Whitehouse Police Department in 1972 as AE Time Patrol Man. He was promoted to Sergeant in 1978. In 1994 he was promoted to Police Chief. He served as Chief until 2006. On retirement Norb and Judy had a new home built in Indiana, but they missed their family and friends and only stayed in Indiana 3 years. They are back in Whitehouse and he is once again employed by the Whitehouse Police Department as a Part Time employee.
Norb’s wife Judy started the Relay for Life in Whitehouse and chaired it for 3 years. She also volunteered at the Whitehouse Country Manor. She also did a variety of Community Services for Whitehouse. They are happy to be back among family and friends.
Each year we are blessed to have such a great community of business owners and residents who sign up and volunteer at the festival each year. It takes over 100 volunteers to staff the 3-day festival and with our rapid growth we are looking for you to please help us. Our volunteers are our "AMBASSADORS' to our community. Once you sign up to become an Ambassador you will attend a 1 hour training class and dinner at the Chamber office to learn the area that you will be working. We offer our Ambassadors VIP treatment during the festival with complimentary meal and drink tickets to our Private "Ambassadors Only" reception area. Please fill out and submit the contact form below and our Ambassadors Director will contact you to discuss your availability for the festival. Welcome to The Chamber Ambassadors Club...open to residents and business owners of the community!
