Chamber 101 is a comprehensive membership orientation. In a Chamber 101 session you will learn how to maximize the benefits of your Chamber investment. The meeting is free and open to new and existing members alike. The seminars are offered throughout the year and registration is required for these events. The Whitehouse Area Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Anthony Wayne Spirit of Giving to present the 2010 Whitehouse Area Chamber of
Commerce Business Expo & Carnival. This event will take place Friday, February 5, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Auxiliary Gym at Anthony Wayne High School in conjunction with the A.W.Spirit of Giving’s annual Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser, which attracts thousands of residents, parents and students to the school with a home varsity basketball game in the evening. There is also in development a fall Business Expo at the Anthony Wayne Homecoming Football Game in conjunction with the National City Bank homecoming tailgate at
Anthony Wayne High School.
Eggs & Issues is the Whitehouse Chamber member’s VIP pass to accessing valuable community information. The breakfast gatherings serve as a resource for keeping members connected to the growth and changes in the area and statewide, as well as share their views on the needs of the business community. Eggs and Issues is a member only event, featuring a variety of important and influential speakers focusing on important topics. This program in still in incubation, so stay tuned for further details.
Our most successful networking event which occurs monthly at a different business on the second Tuesday each month from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This event is hosted by a Chamber member and includes a 15 minute Chamber business briefing to get the latest news from the Chamber. This event attracts up to 50 people and is a great way to get connected in Whitehouse! Contact the Chamber office at 419-877-2747 to host an After Hours in 2010. This program is free to Chamber members.
For businesses that are just starting up to businesses who change ownership, we showcase them along with our media partner, The Mirror Newspaper with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony that brings the community together to recognize and promote your new venture. This program will take place monthly and will include a topic relevant to the business community and members.
